1951-54 Spalding Official Western International League Ball Giles NL

Unused 1951-54 era Spalding Western International League minor league baseball. The WIL used the Spalding Official National League baseball as their game ball. The east side panel shows the stamp of Robert Abel, league president from 1941-54. Ball is unused with minor soiling and toning. Baseballs of this era were packaged in rolled paper bags and this example retains its original packaging. The bag is obviously open and there are some splits at fold lines. A portion of the original sealing band remains.
