VINTAGE 1928-33 OFFICIAL SPALDING NATIONAL LEAGUE JOHN HEYDLER BASEBALL with BOX
This official John Heydler National League baseball dates back to the late 1920's and early 1930's. The red and blue stitching that is on this ball was last used in 1933 as both leagues began using all red stitching in 1934, along with the stamp of the league president which was moved from the side panel to the sweet spot in 1934. Finally, the baseball has "PAT'D RE 17200" on the North panel which corresponds with the correct patent for baseball's between 1928 - 1933. Baseball comes with original box. Baseball is in Terrific Shape - clean.
Original Box has wear, but definitely adds a lot to the baseball. One of the cleanest Heydler baseball's I have seen - other than the ones that came directly out of the box.
